Billy Merritt has been performing for the last fifteen years in New York. For the last ten years he has been on staff at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, were he teaches, performs, and directs. Billy was on the house improv team, The Swarm, which achieved cult status, and currently performs to soldout shows every Friday night with The Stepfathers.

Billy Merritt’s television debut was with The Upright Citizen Brigade on Comedy Central. He became a regular for Late Night with Conan O’Brien where he has made over 75 appearances. Billy became a member of the hit show for MTV, Boiling Points, a prank/game show that ran for three years. He was one of the original panelists on Best Week Ever on VH1 until they found out he never watched the O.C. and was the one of the “Flab Four” on Comedy Central’s Straight Plan for the Gay Man Billy is currently shooting a show for the Mojo channel in HD called Uncorked with Billy Merritt. It is a Guy’s Guy Guide to wine and food with a comic slant.
