Sandy Green has spent the past 15 years producing numerous television series focusing on both independent production and network branded programming. Throughout her career she has produced over 600 half hour episodes of television. In 2005, Ms. Green formed her own full service production company, Helicon Media.

After several years as a production accountant for motion pictures (“Bowling For Columbine,”“Peacemaker,” “The Ice Storm”), Ms. Green teamed up with popular television personality Gordon Elliott to become his Executive Producer and Development Director at Follow Productions. Together, they quickly turned out a string of successful series for Food Network, including, “Follow That Food”, “Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee” and “Paula’s Home Cooking.” Green developed and produced these shows by breaking out of the traditional and introducing “real world” cooking environments; leading to a significant growth in Food Network’s ratings.

Other networks soon appreciated Follow’s ability to build both strong formats and personality driven brands. In 2002, Follow, under Green’s direction, began creating key prime time series for the then new Fine Living Network, including, “Genuine Article,” “Simply Wine,” “Best for Less” and “Pairings with Andrea.”

Helicon’s first production, “Uncorked! with Billy Merritt” premiered on In Demand’s INHD in 2006.Currently Green is in production on a travel/reality show for mojoHD; “Meal Ticket” with Ralph Pagano.

She lives in northern New Jersey with her husband and their two daughters.
